Third round of Rahman Putra scrapped due to haze

KUALA LUMPUR: The third round of the PGM Tour’s CCM Rahman Putra Championship was cancelled due to the hazardous haze that has engulfed most parts of Peninsular Malaysia.

Confirming the move yesterday, tournament director of the RM200,000 event, Gen (retired) Ron Mahendran said the air pollutant index (API) was “too high to risk the health of the players”.
