(Reuters) - Liverpool, who are in a battle with Manchester City for the English Premier League title, will play July friendlies at Boston's Fenway Park, New York's Yankee Stadium and Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Indiana, the team announced on Tuesday.

Liverpool will kick off the trio of pre-season games with a July 19 clash against Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund in what will be the first competitive football match in the 90-year history of the University of Notre Dame's 77,000-seat stadium.
