LONDON (Reuters) - Southampton's incoming manager Ralph Hasenhuettl was at Wembley Stadium on Wednesday to witness the scale of the rescue mission ahead of him as the struggling Premier League side slumped to a 3-1 loss at the hands of Tottenham Hotspur.

The former RB Leipzig boss was announced as successor to Mark Hughes before the game and watched as goals from Harry Kane, Lucas Moura and Son Heung-min condemned Saints to their eighth league defeat of the season.
