PETALING JAYA: Defending champions Kedah has kicked-off their Malaysia Cup campaign on the right foot with a comfortable 2-0 win over Melaka in their Group C match at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar.
The Red Eagles, who lost their Super League match 2-3 to Perak last Saturday, bounced back in style to collect three points with goals from Sandro Mendonca (30th minute) and Baddrol Bakhtiar (64th).
