LONDON (Reuters) - Arsene Wenger ended months of speculation about his future on Wednesday by signing a new two-year deal with Arsenal that will keep the Frenchman at the Emirates Stadium until 2019.

"I love this club and I am looking forward to the future with optimism and excitement," the 67-year-old said in a statement issued by the Premier League club to confirm the extension.
