HONG KONG (Reuters) - Shanghai SIPG were denied the opportunity to share the lead in the Chinese Super League on Sunday when a late goal from Ding Jie saw Andre Villas-Boas' team held to a 1-1 draw by Chongqing Lifan.
SIPG were seconds away from moving into a three-way tie, level on 16 points, at the top of the standings with Guangzhou Evergrande and Guangzhou R&G but Ding's goal scuppered those hopes.
