JOHOR BARU: The versatile Khair Jones is set to go places.

National coach Datuk Ong Kim Swee is impressed with the Malacca defender, who got the ball rolling in Malaysia’s 3-0 win over Timor Leste in the second leg of the 2019 Asian Cup playoff at the Larkin Stadium in Johor Baru on Tuesday.
“Khair is a natural defender, but I put him on as a left flanker and he did a good job ... not only in defence, but also in attack. He managed to put in good crosses and even scored a goal.
