LONDON (Reuters) - Striker Gabriel Agbonlahor stepped down as Aston Villa captain on Thursday and was handed a heavy fine by the relegated Premier League club following his recent behaviour.
The 29-year-old was suspended by Villa after allegedly going on an alcohol-fuelled laughing-gas binge on the day their relegation was confirmed two weeks ago.
