KEDAH put a stop to Kelantan’s sterling record in the FA Cup in recent years by eliminating the Red Warriors in the third round on Friday.

The Red Eagles prevailed 5-4 on penalties at the Darulaman Stadium in Alor Setar on Friday after the match had ended 1-1 in regulation and extra time. Australian defender Jonathan McKain put Kelantan ahead in the 32nd minute, only for Kedah to equalise through substitute Khairul Helmi Johari in the 47th minute.
