Germany win big in friendly, but at a cost

Germany's Miroslav Klose (right), who became his country's top international goal scorer with 69 after scoring one goal, celebrates with team-mate Andre Schuerrle at the end of the friendly match against Armenia in Germany on Friday. Germany won 6-1.

MAINZ, Germany (AFP): Germany coach Joachim Loew was left counting the cost of Friday's 6-1 thrashing of Armenia in a friendly which threatens to rule Marco Reus out of the World Cup.

The 25-year-old Borussia Dortmund winger was rushed to hospital after twisting his left ankle in a challenge just before half-time.
