PETALING JAYA: Newly-crowned Europa League champions Sevilla strolled to a 2-0 win over Super League leaders Selangor in a friendly at the Shah Alam Stadium.
Playing in front of 30,000 fans last night, the La Liga outfit scored through Piotr Yrochowski (30th) and Diogo Figueiras (44th).
It was Sevilla’s second win in their South-East Asian tour. On Friday, the Spaniards defeated Indonesian side Pelita Bandung Raya 4-0 in Bandung.
Sevilla beat Portugal’s Benfica 4-2 on penalties after both teams were tied 0-0 after 120 minutes in the Europa League final in Turin last Wednesday.
