Divers splash out of medals in dismal day

INCHEON: Diver Pandelela Rinong’s reputation as an Olympic medallist took a beating at the Munhak Park Tae-hwan Aquatics Centre.

The 21-year-old, who won the bronze at the 2012 London Olympics, failed to produce her magic in the 10m platform individual here as she could only manage to finish seventh with a 309.35 total.
