Nail-biting finish: Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi That punching the air in jubilation after beating Malaysia’s Jupha Somnet (in black) in the 101.5km road race in Nilai.

JUPHA Somnet was beaten by the tip of a wheel for the second time in three days by Vietnam’s Nguyen Thi That in the SEA Games road cycling competition in Nilai.

But it has only strengthened her resolve to deliver a gold for Malaysia when she switches her focus to the track cycling competition, which begins at the Nilai Velodrome on Sunday.
