Junaidi: Junior cyclists must rise up to achieve 13-gold aim


PETALING JAYA: The junior cyclists will have no choice but to rise to the occasion to help fulfil Malaysia’s bold 13-gold target in the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games from Aug 19-30.

Of the 20 golds at stake in cycling, 13 will come from track at the newly-built National Velodrome Malay­sia in Nilai. The other golds up for grabs are in road events (five) in Putrajaya and BMX (two) in Nilai.
