LTdL: Mirsamad nearly there as Theo bosses another stage

KUALA TERENGGANU: Iran rider Mirsamad Pourseyedigolakhour is on the verge of winning Le Tour de Langkawi (LTdL) as Dutch rider Theo Bos took out the stage victory in Stage Nine from Bandar Permaisuri to Kuala Terengganu in a bunch sprint.

Barring any disaster in the final stage on Saturday, Mirsamad of Tabriz Petrochemical, with an eight second lead over Eritrean rider Merhawi Kudus of MTN Qhubeka, will be the overall winner.
