MELBOURNE (Reuters) - Australia all-rounder Shane Watson has suffered a suspected abdominal strain while competing in a Twenty20 tournament in the United Arab Emirates, throwing his participation in the World T20 in doubt.

The 34-year-old sustained the injury while bowling for Islamabad in the Pakistan Super League and promptly ruled himself out of the rest of the tournament to head home for assessment.
