The first qualifying round of the Prudential Astro Masters (PAM) saw an eager field of 120 golfers challenge the Graham Marsh-designed Tropicana Golf & Country Club in Petaling Jaya.
After 18 holes played in good weather, the oversubscribed qualifying round saw 1-handicapper Jimmy Chia crowned as the first Gross champion of the 10 qualifying legs.
