THE first leg of the Junior Purple League 2017 (JPL2017) saw newly promoted side Bandar Maharani Badminton Club (BC) impress on their Division 1 bow by beating Serdang BC 14-3 at Sports Arena Puchong.

Last season’s Division 2 champions took control of the tie from the get go through Lim Chong King’s 3-0 (11-8, 11-9, 11-6) victory over Chang Chia Hao in the boy’s singles match.
