Saina hopes marriage to Kashyap will be a good luck charm

Indias Saina Nehwal in action to beat Deng Joy Xuan of Hong Kong during the first round of Malaysian Masters Badminton championship at Axiata Arena in Bukit Jalil yesterday. Saina won 14-21,21-18,21-18.(16/01/2019/S.S.KANESAN/The Star)

IT’S too soon to say but India’s Saina Nehwal (pic) hopes to revive her career and break into the top three again after tying the knot with national teammate P. Kashyap.

Saina last topped the world rankings in 2015 but a knee injury in 2016 saw her stay at the top cut short and she has since been trying to find her way back to the top.
