Not all is lost as mixed doubles pairs can still make Finals

ODENSE: It was not the results that they wanted at the Danisa Denmark Open but mixed doubles shuttlers Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying and Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie can still afford to smile.

Both pairs are still in the running to qualify for the World Tour Finals in Guangzhou, China, from Dec 12-16 despite crashing out in the quarter-finals at the Odense Sports Centre in contrasting fashion on Friday.
