KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia will not have the services of former ace Tan Boon Heong but the presence of Indonesian coach Paulus Firman is seen as a quick fix to strengthen the men’s doubles department ahead of the Thomas Cup Finals in Bangkok, Thailand, in May.
Paulus has been officially appointed to assist men’s doubles head coach Cheah Soon Kit after the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) council meeting yesterday.
