KUALA LUMPUR: It’s a gift world No. 2 Lee Chong Wei couldn’t be more thankful for.
The Malaysian was handed a semi-final ticket at the World Superseries Finals on a platter yesterday as he did not even have to play a match. And it’s all thanks to Hong Kong’s Angus Ng Ka Long, who did Chong Wei a favour by stunning South Korea’s Son Wan-ho 21-15, 13-21, 21-16 in a Group A match at the Hamdan Sports Complex in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates.
