ODENSE: It was a memorable debut for shuttlers Goh Soon Huat-Shevon Lai Jemie (pix) at the Danisa Denmark Open held here.

On Tuesday, Soon Huat-Jemie went the distance to beat Kim Jae-hwan-Lee So-hee of South Korea 21-15, 23-25, 21-14 in the first round of the mixed doubles event at the Odense Sports Park.
