PETALING JAYA: Viktor Axelsen (pic) of Denmark has become the world No. 1 men’s singles shuttler for the first time.

The 23-year-old Axelsen has moved up one rung to the top spot in the ranking list released by Badminton World Federation (BWF) yesterday.
