PETALING JAYA: Thailand’s Khosit Phetpradab has made a quick rebound from his Kuala Lumpur SEA Games disappointment.
The Thai No. 2 defeated compatriot Suppanyu Avihingsanon 21-15, 21-19 in a hard-fought men’s singles final to lift the Vietnam Open title in Ho Chi Minh City yesterday.
Last month, the 23-year-old Khosit went down fighting to Indonesia’s Jonatan Christie in the men’s singles final at the KL Games.
Japan continued to underline their prowess in women’s singles when Sayaka Takahashi defeated Vietnam’s Vu Thi Trang 21-9, 21-14 in the final yesterday.
