PETALING JAYA: Cheam June Wei showed that he is slowly but surely regaining his form by pulling off an upset to reach the men’s singles quarter-finals at the Malaysian Interna-tional Series in Putrajaya.
The 20-year-old June Wei knocked out top seed and world No. 61 Vladimir Malkov of Russia 20-22, 21-18, 21-17 in a 62-minute third-round match yesterday.
