Al-Amin urges younger shuttlers to emulate Chong Wei’s fortitude


SEPANG: Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) acting president Tan Sri Mohd Al-Amin Abdul Majid has lauded the achievements of Lee Chong Wei and Chan Peng Soon-Goh Liu Ying at the recently-concluded All-England badminton championships.

The 34-year-old Chong Wei won the men’s singles title for a fourth time at the ripe old age of 34. He defeated 21-year-old Shi Yuqi 21-12, 21-10 in the men’s singles final in Birmingham on Sunday.
