Iskandar, Kian Meng-Pei Jing make it a glorious day in Taiwan

It is a good day for Malaysian shuttlers in Taiwan Open.

PETALING JAYA: It was a good day at the office for Malaysia’s men’s singles shuttler Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin and mixed doubles pair Tan Kian Meng-Lai Pei Jing as they made it to the semi-finals of the Taiwan Open.

While Iskandar saw off Thailand’s Khosit Phetpradab 21-17, 21-18 in the last eight, Kian Meng-Pei Jing had to rely on their never-say-die attitude to pull off a stunning 19-21, 21-19, 21-7 win over world No. 13 and second seeds Reginald Lee Chun Hei-Chau Hoi Wah of Hong Kong at the Taipei Arena on Friday.
