FOR a venue hosting badminton’s premier world team championships, the Kunshan Sports Centre Gymnasium looks a bit too small for comfort.

That’s what struck Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) technical director Morten Frost when he first checked out the 6,000-seat venue with the Thomas Cup and Uber Cup shuttlers on Friday.
