PETALING JAYA: The last time Goh Liu Ying played in the Uber Cup Finals was during her debut in Kuala Lumpur six years ago.

She has not featured in the biennial team competition since then. Malaysia failed to make the cut in the 2012 Finals in Wuhan, China, and Liu Ying had to give the 2014 edition in New Delhi a miss due to a knee injury.
