PETALING JAYA: China’s Lin Dan downed his world No. 1 compatriot Chen Long in straight games to lift his sixth China Masters badminton crown.

The 32-year-old two-time Olympic champion triumphed 21-17, 23-21 in 65 minutes for his third men’s singles title of the year at the Changzhou Olympic Centre in Jiangsu on Sunday. Lin Dan had captured the German Open and All-England last month.
