Iskandar back from injury abyss to reach Malaysian Open main draw

SHAH ALAM: Shuttler Iskandar Zulkarnain Zainuddin made a winning return to reach the main draw of a Superseries tournament for the first time.

The 24-year-old Malaysian’s hopes of competing in this week’s Celcom Axiata Malaysian Open and next month’s Thomas Cup Finals was in doubt after he suffered a heel injury at the Swiss Open three weeks ago.
