PETALING JAYA: Tan Boon Heong- Koo Kien Keat squandered a glorious chance to cut the gap on their compatriots in the hunt for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics spot.

The pair were hoping to at least make the Swiss Open final to keep the pressure on Goh V Shem-Tan Wee Kiong who were shown the exit in the second round.
