KUALA LUMPUR: The Danish contingent were in a sombre mood despite qualifying for the Thomas Cup Finals as the No. 1 team in Europe.
They were handed a terrible blow when their star doubles shuttler Carsten Mogensen collapsed and had to undergo an open brain surgery in Kazan, Russia during the European Team Championships last week.
