GENTING HIGHLANDS: The Malaysian Open from April 5-10 is scheduled to proceed as planned.

There were initial fears that the Superseries Premier event - the highest tier competition in the Badminton World Federation (BWF) calendar - could be in jeopardy following Maybank’s decision to end their six-year sponsorship with the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM).
