PETALING JAYA: It was a wasted trip to Mexico for SEA Games gold medallists Amelia Alicia Anscelly-Soong Fie Cho.

The Malaysian No. 2 blew a golden opportunity to earn valuable Olympic qualifying points after crashing out in the women’s doubles first round of the Mexico City Grand Prix badminton championships on Wednesday.
