KUALA LUMPUR: Top women’s doubles pair Woon Khe Wei-Vivian Hoo have defied the odds to meet the semi-final target set by national coach Rosman Razak at the German Open.

On Friday, Glasgow Commonwealth Games champions Khe Wei-Vivian gave an outstanding performance to stun fourth seeds Lee Soo-hee-Shin Seung-chan of South Korea 21-16, 21-7 in a 32-minute quater-final match in Mulheim.
