Sarawak duo smash MSSM hammer meet records in Penang

PENANG: Sarawak’s Johnny Ling Siew Hong and Grace Wong Xiu Mei flexed their muscles to smash the hammer meet records in the boys and girls’ Open category in the 59th National Schools Sports Council (MSSM) Track and Field Championships at the City Stadium.

The 17-year-old Johnny, especially, was in sizzling form as he broke his own record by a massive nine metres on the fourth – and last day – of the meet.
