PETALING JAYA: Malaysia’s men’s recurve team have given themselves a timely boost ahead of the KL SEA Games by winning bronze in the third leg of Archery World Cup in Salt Lake City, the United States.

The trio of Khairul Anuar Mohamed, Haziq Kamaruddin and Muhd Akmal Nor Hasrin comfortably beat Mexico’s Luis Alvarez, Juan Rene Serrano and Ernesto Boardman 6-2 (53-50, 51-54, 55-53, 54-52) to secure their first podium finish in the prestigious series in four years on Sunday.
