PETALING JAYA: The national men’s archery team passed their first test in their bid to qualify for the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in August.

Khairul Anuar Mohd, Haziq Kamaruddin and Muhd Ikram Joni compiled a 1,971 total to finish eighth to make the top 16 knockout phase at the Final Qualification Tournament (FQT) in Antalya, Turkey, on Thursday.
