MACC raids Shafie Apdal's house in KK

KOTA KINABALU: Graft investigators raided the house of Parti Warisan Sabah president Datuk Seri Shafie Apdal after he was discharged from the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Saturday.

It is learnt that the investigators took him back to the Sabah Malaysian Anti- Corruption Commission (MACC) office for further questioning.

Yusof Apdal's remand extended two days

MACC: Medical treatment for Shafie and two others hampering probe

The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission probe on Datuk Seri Mohd Shafie Apdal and two of his relatives has been hampered by claims that they need medical attention. The graft busters say they cannot question the Parti Warisan Sabah president if he is hospitalised and are unable to search his homes in Kuala Lumpur, Kota Kinabalu and Semporna. His brother Hamid and the latter’s son-in-law Manzur Hussein Awal Khan were also warded earlier but have been released on bail. Shafie has been remanded for four days.
