We did not mean to cause unease

IN response to the letter “Why promote consumption of wild animals?” by Datuk Dr Amar-Singh yesterday (online at bitly.com/star_wild), Pos Malaysia would like to apologise over any uneasiness it has caused among nature and animal lovers with the production of the “Exotic Food” stamp series.

Our aim was to highlight the variety of uncommon delicacies found and served in Malaysia. It was never our intention to promote or encourage activities such as the hunting or consumption of exotic animals.
