In defence of workers in the civil service


I REFER to the article “A youthful awakening in public sector” (The Star, July 5) in which the writer, Danial Rahman, expressed his optimism about the future for young civil servants.

But as a person from the private sector who deals with the government, it is my opinion that dissatisfaction and disappointments may arise among civil servants if certain changes are not implemented.
