THE proposal by the National Road Safety Council to impose a mandatory jail term on reckless drivers who cause the death of other road users would be a waste of human potential and resources.
The Transport Ministry should be taking more stringent measures to prevent accidents from happening by implementing strict enforcement and surveillance on our roads.
