Other airports also need better taxi services


I REFER to “Move metered taxis to airport arrivals level” (The Star, May 29). Our KLIA taxi service has many weaknesses and needs to be improved. But when we compare with other countries, what the writer encountered was sup sup shui (a small matter). Let me relate my travel experience in Australia in May.

I touched down at Gold Coast airport in the morning and was heading to my connecting flight to Cairns via Brisbane Airport. I was told the best way to go to Brisbane Airport was by train and that the station was nearby.
