Some Emergency police forgotten

“Those who served the country during the state of emergencies will be awarded the Pingat Jasa Pahlawan Negara (PJPN) medals in stages”.

This was announced by the then Deputy Home Minister Datuk Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar some three years ago. The Deputy Minister also said that his ministry was in charge of and responsible for the distribution of this medal. He said that the medals would be bestowed on those who served in any of the emergency periods, based on merit, as recognition and honour for their spirit of heroism.
