TAN Sri Rafidah Aziz’s view (The Star, March 27) that society should drop its obsession with filling the 30% quota of women in boardrooms and instead take note of the many capable and inspiring women who are already out there is valid.
But equally valid is the argument that quotas are necessary for an even playing field for women to fill the executive ranks.
