In praise of leaders who walk the talk

KUDOS to Perak Mentri Besar Datuk Seri Dr Zambry Abdul Kadir for donning the orange T-shirt, going on the ground and getting his hands dirty to experience the daily life of a City Hall council worker, even if only for one day. Only one with a humble upbringing would be able to do this.

The Malaysian Consumers Movement (MCM) believes that leaders must occasionally move away from their cosy operating environment and participate in activities which will not only help to bring them closer to the people but also to improve their understanding of the daily challenges of the common man. Experiences gained will help them to develop people responsive policies.
