Poser over medical schools

SINCE my letter “Police must investigate” (The Star, July 6), which was about a student who gained entry into University D to do medicine using forged transcripts from University C, was published, I have found out another shocking development. University D has taken in two students who failed miserably in their professional examination (conducted at the end of Year 2) in University B.

Both students performed badly in all their continuous assessments and the final professional exam in University B but were accepted into Year 3 of University D! Apparently, these two students sat for a supplementary professional examination in University D and passed.
