WEDNESDAY is the scheduled collection day for recyclable items including garden refuse (grass and dried leaves) in my area.
The Alam Flora workers, however, are only interested in collecting papers, plastic bottles, glass and metal items. On numerous occasions, my bag of garden refuse has been left behind. Recently, it was placed behind my big green bin to hide it but the paper and plastic items were taken away.
